That's when I got this idea - Making all natural products for my hair too.
But why Honey?
-->Honey (especially raw) is naturally antibacterial and antifungal and can help treat bacterial/fungal issues on the scalp.
-->Honey is very moisturizing, it helps your hair look softer and smoother.
-->The pH of our scalp is somewhere between 4 and 7, and the pH of honey is about 4. This slightly acidic nature of honey can balance the scalp and also fight dandruff.
-->Honey won't strip out the scalp and hair of the natural protective oils. As a result, your hair will be less oily over time.
-->And it's natural- So why not?
What do we need?
Raw Honey (The normal one works too)
Filtered, fresh water
A few drops of essential oils (Optional-For scent)
Process:
Make this shampoo single serving only, it takes only 2-3 minutes to make this so prepare a new one before every shower. (Suggested)
Take an old shampoo bottle or any kind of container and add 1tsp (change according to use) of honey and add twice that amount of water and stir it (Make sure the honey is completely dissolved) Add a few drops of essential oils, if required.
How do we use the shampoo?
This is one of the most important step, wet hair and apply ONLY on the scalp then wait for a minute and wash your hair. After this use your favorite shampoo and conditioner as usual Use the honey shampoo only once a week or alternating times as honey can slightly lighten your hair.
Results!!?
It takes time for your hair to adjust to the honey shampoo , so it might take upto 4-5* washes for the results to show (If this shampoo is harming your hair in any way, STOP usage right away as this might not suit every type of hair) but I can guarantee soft and smoother hair after every wash.
*I am not professional or certified, I just come up with these ideas after hours of research and trials-try at your own risk*
Thank you
